அல் பாசினோ, ராபர்ட் டி நீரோ, டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ் நடிப்பதெல்லாம் பார்க்கும்போது ’இது நடிப்பே இல்லை, ரொம்ப இயல்பாக வாழ்வை நிகழ்த்தி காட்டி விடும் கலை எப்படியோ இவர்களுக்கு சாத்தியமாகிறது’ என்பதாக ஒரு பிரமிப்பு தோன்றுகிறது. மூவருமே முற்றிலும் ஒருவரொருவரிலிருந்து ‘உடல்மொழி’ வேறுபட்ட வித்தியாசமானவர்கள். அல் பாசினோ உட்கார்ந்த நிலையில் நிமிரிந்து வித விதமாக பார்ப்பது, (அந்த பார்வை எத்தனை சாத்தியக்கூறுகளை காட்டி விடுகிறது!)ராபர்ட் டி நீரோ சிரிப்பது, பார்ப்பது, பேசுவது தலையை ஆட்டுவது. டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ், சிரிப்பது, பார்ப்பது, பேசுவது, அதிர்ச்சியை மெலிதாய் காட்டுவது எல்லாமே அசாத்தியமான எவ்வளவோ உணர்வுகளை வெளிப்படுத்தக்கூடிய மேன்மையான தரத்தில் அமைந்திருக்கிறது.

இந்த “Sully” ஹாலிவுட் படம் டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ் நடித்திருப்பதால் அந்த நடிகரை ஞாபகப்படுத்துகிறதா என்றால் இல்லை. ஒரு நிஜ பைலட் ஆஃபிசர் தான் கண்ணுக்குத்தெரிகிறார். டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ் நடித்த ஒரு இருபத்தைந்து படங்களுக்கு மேல், (பல படங்கள் பல முறை) இருபத்தைந்து வருடங்களுக்கும் மேலாக பார்த்திருந்தும் இந்த படத்தில் அவரை ஒரு ஹாலிவுட் நடிகராக நினைக்கவே முடியவில்லை என்றால் அந்த நடிப்பைப் பற்றி சொல்ல என்ன தான் இனி இருக்கிறது. சாதனை!

விமானத்தை தரையிலேயே நாற்பது வருடங்களாக இறக்கி நிறுத்திய ஒரு பைலட் ஆற்றில் இறக்கி விட நேர்கிறது. ஹட்சன் நதியில் இறங்கும் விமானத்திலிருந்த 155 பேரும், குழந்தை உட்பட உயிர் பிழைத்த அதிசயம் அமெரிக்காவில் 2009 ம் ஆண்டு நிஜமாக நடந்த சம்பவம்.

டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ் படங்கள் கொஞ்சம் விஷேசத்தரமானவை. அவருடைய மாஸ்டர் பீஸ் படங்கள் வரிசையில் Nothing in Commen படம் பற்றி யாரும் பேச மாட்டார்கள். The Big, Sleepless in Seattle, Philadelphia,Forrest Gump,Apollo 13,Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile,Cast Away, Road to Perdition,The Terminal,The Da Vince Code போன்ற படங்கள் வரிசையில் Nothing in Common படத்தை யாரும்  சேர்க்க மாட்டார்கள்.
100 greatest movies, 100 passions, 100 laughs,100 quotes என்ற லிஸ்ட் எதிலும் Nothing in Common படம் இடம் பெற்றதில்லை தான். டாம் ஹாங்க்ஸ் நடித்த படங்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றையும் இரு முறைக்கு குறையாமல்  பார்த்து விடும் வழக்கம் கொண்ட நான் இந்தப்படத்தை மட்டுமே ஐந்து தடவை பார்த்திருக்கிறேன்.
