Paulo Coelho 's proverb and emails to R. P. Rajanayahem

 பௌலோ கொய்லோ சொன்ன 

ஒரு பழமொழி பற்றியும் 

மற்றும் அவர் R. P. ராஜநாயஹத்துக்கு எழுதிய இரண்டு ஈமெயில்களும் 

ஏற்கனவே இருக்கிற பழமொழிய தான் 

பௌலோ கொய்லோ சொன்னார்.

'ரசவாதி' என்ற தமிழ் மொழிபெயர்ப்பைப் படித்த பலரும் மேற்கண்ட பௌலோ கொய்லோவின் வார்த்தைகளால் கவரப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

"ஒரு முறை நடந்த எதுவும் திரும்ப நடக்காது. ஆனால் இரண்டு முறை நடந்த எதுவாயிருந்தாலும் மூன்றாவது முறை நடந்தே தீரும்"

இது ஆங்கிலத்தில் முன்னரே சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கிற பழமொழி. 

அதை தன் Alchemist நாவலில் மீண்டும் கொஞ்சம் மாற்றி சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.அவ்வளவு தான்.

" Things comes in threes " 

proverb was first recorded in 1927. 

All good things comes in threes; 

all bad things comes in threes.

இன்னொரு விஷயம்.

once, twice, three times

once சொல்லுங்க.. twice சொல்லுங்க.. 'மூன்று முறை ' குறிக்க எப்போதும் three times தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். 

"Thrice " என்று சொன்னால் நீங்க கொஞ்சம் Old fashioned ஆக அறியப்படுவீர்கள்.

"அப்பா டக்கர் "  என்ற slang வார்த்தை இன்று மிக பிரபலம். இதற்கு Antonym தெரியுமா? முப்பது வருடங்களுக்கு முன் அப்பா டக்கர் என்பதற்கு எதிர் பதம் மதுரையில் மிகவும் பிரபலம்!

ஊள் டக்கர். 

ஊளை என்பதிலிருந்து பிறந்த மதுரை Slang 

ஊள் டக்கர். 

சொத்தையான ஆளை, ஊளையான ஆளை குறிப்பிட "ஊள் டக்கர்" என்ற வார்த்தையை அன்றே உபயோகப்படுத்தினர்.

"தாழன் சரியான 'ஊள் டக்கர்'டா"

 "அப்பா டக்கர்" என்பதன் எதிர் பதம் என்பதால் மீண்டும் "ஊள் டக்கர்"  புழக்கத்தில் வரட்டும்.
